Brand Photography Story: Hearts for the Kingdom | Eau Claire WI Brand Photographer

Every brand has a story to tell, and the best brand photography captures more than just faces—it captures the heart behind the mission. When I partnered with Hearts for the Kingdom, a Christian podcast based in Menomonie, Wisconsin, my goal was to create imagery that reflected the warmth, authenticity, and genuine friendship that listeners experience through every episode. After more than two years of faithfully sharing conversations centered on faith, they needed visuals that matched the connection they had already built with their audience.

Documenting Authentic Moments

Instead of relying on posed portraits, I focused on documenting authentic moments. We captured Robyn and Monique recording together in their podcast studio, enjoying conversation in a cozy sun porch, and sharing joyful moments in front of the Love Church mural. These images showcase not only what they do, but who they are and the welcoming, Christ-centered community they've created.

The Library of Content

Their new brand photography provides a versatile library of content for social media, podcast platforms, their website, marketing materials, speaking engagements, and future promotions. With cohesive imagery, they're able to consistently show the heart behind their message wherever their audience finds them.

Brand photography is about more than creating beautiful images—it's about helping people connect with your story before they ever meet you. Whether you're a podcaster, ministry leader, or small business owner, intentional visuals can build trust, strengthen your brand, and help your audience feel connected from the very first impression.

How These Assets Will Be Used

These images weren’t created just to “look good”—they were built with strategy in mind.

Hearts for the Kingdom can use these assets across:

  • Their Spotify podcast cover

  • Social media to continue building trust and connection with their audience

  • Online digital marketing materials and educational content

  • Internal and external brand touchpoints to create consistency

By showing real moments, and genuine laughter, these images help bridge the gap between curiosity and trust—making it easier for listeners to feel engaged and excited about the podcast.

Final Thoughts

I’ll be honest—this session was exactly what I needed, but not for the reasons you may think!

My husband was out of town at a men’s retreat, and I had been struggling with feeling lonely at home. By the time this session came, I was very ready to get out of the house (an extrovert being alone for too long is a recipe for disaster!). It didn’t take long after showing up to the photoshoot for me to regain my energy! Both Robyn and Monique were so approachable and they made my job so easy because of how joyful, welcoming, and authentic they are. By the end of our time together, they also both prayed over me, what I’ve been facing in my personal life and
